Cranberry Salad Recipe

The flavors of autumn in this Cranberry Salad Recipe, with tart Granny Smith apples and cherries stirred together with a dreamy Greek yogurt. Super easy to create but is sure to impress.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tart green apples, cored and chopped
  • 1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped dried cherries
  • 1 (8 ounce) container vanilla or honey Greek yogurt

    Directions:

Prepare your apples by coring them and chopping them into bite size pieces.

In a medium bowl, stir together the apples, almonds, cranberries, cherries and yogurt until evenly coated.

I had put my apples in a bit of lemon juice so they would not brown because I was taking this recipe with me to a trail ride and cookout, so I added 1/4 cup of brown sugar to offset the extra tartness from the lemon juice. If you are going to serve this immediately you can skip this step.

This recipe serves about four people, but you can make your batch bigger like I did if your sharing it!

The beautiful ingredients: Tart cranberries, crunchy granny smith apples and slivered almonds.
