Lima Bean Recipe

Lima bean recipe with fluffy Horse-Radish Dressing, made from freshly ground horse-radish and some whipped cream. Made extra zesty Tabasco sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked Lima beans

  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet pickle

  • 1/2 cup finely cut celery

  • 3/4 cup Mayonnaise or Horse-radish Cream Dressing

  • lettuce

  • salt

    Directions:

Cook the lima beans or buy them in a can ready to serve. Toss all the ingredients lightly. Chill for at least an hour before serving.

Serve this on chicory or romaine lettuce.

    Serves eight people.

Hope you enjoy this simple and nutritious bean salad recipe. Remember you can use mayonnaise if you prefer not to make the other dressing.

    Fluffy Horse-Radish Dressing

Add ¾ cup whipped cream, 4 tablespoons freshly ground horseradish, and 4 drops of Tabasco sauce.

I think this recipe would work really well using Edaname instead of the Lima Beans too. I think I personally prefer them.
