Salad Bowl Recipe

Salad Bowl Recipe

Here are several good combinations for salad bowls. If you would like to season your wooden salad bowl you can rub it with a cut clove of garlic, add the greens and toss. If you prefer not to season the bowl you can rub a small crust of dry beard with the cut clove of garlic and drop it into the bowl before adding the greens. Take it out before serving.

Ingredients for the salad bowl should be arranged in orderly heaps or rows with an eye to color and contrast.

Salad Bowl Combinations:

  • Avocado, grapefruit, romaine.

  • Avocado, orange and watercress.

  • Avocado, seedless white grapes, and chicory.
