Vinaigrette Dressing
Ingredients:
1 cup clear French Dressing
2 tablespoons chopped stuffed green olives
1 tablespoon chopped pimiento
1 tablespoon chopped chives
1 hard-cooked egg
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a jar; cover and shake vigorously until well mixed. Makes about 1ΒΌ cups of dressing. Try this with a salad of young spinach leaves and egg slices or green onions.
Chiffonade Dressing
Ingredients:
3/4 cup clear French dressing
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 teaspoons chopped onion
1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
1/4 cup chopped, cooked beets
Directions:
Combine ingredients; shake well in a covered jar to blend. Makes 1 cup of dressing. Served with a bowl of tossed salad.
*Note
French Dressing is a mixture of oil, vinegar, and seasonings. Clear French Dressing separates, and needs a shake every time it is served.
