Simple Side Salad with Arugula and Alfalfa Sprouts

Simple Side Salad

  • Baby Arugula
  • Alfalfa sprouts
  • Roasted Pecans and Almonds
Tossed with a Ginger Mango Vinaigrette

This is a very simple side salad with some interesting ingredients. Nothing boring about this. I included a photo of the Vinaigrette I used.

This company (Marzetti) makes some terrific dressings. The roasted pecans and almonds are also available in the salad fixing isle. I used B. LLOYD’S Nice & Salty all natural salad topping.

I wanted to included some health information on the Alfalfa Spouts, all the more reason to include these in your salads.

Sprouts have long been famous as "health food" but in addition to being a great source of nutrients, they also have important curative ability. Sprouts like alfalfa, contain concentrated amounts of plant compounds that can protect us against disease.

It wouldn't be inconceivable to find a fountain of youth here, after all, sprouts represent the miracle of birth.

These little sprouts are amazing and if you research their benefits they will impress you.

My baby Arugula with Alfalfa Sprouts and Pomegranate Ariel’s, served with walnut glazed citrus infused shrimp. YUM!
